“THE ATMOSPHERE THAT GETS CREATED ON SEMI-FINAL DAY IS LIKE NO OTHER”
Dave Dennis insists there can be no regrets and that he and his Exeter Chiefs must literally put “everything on the line” in today’s semi- final showdown against Northampton Saints. Just a week after the two teams locked horns in the final fixture of the regular season, they will engage in
battle once more, the reward a place in next week’s Grand Final at Twickenham. For the Chiefs, victory today will ensure Rob Baxter’s side of a fourth successive outing at the home of English Rugby against either Saracens or Gloucester, who face off in the day’s other last four encounter.
Aussie international Dennis is well aware of what it takes to secure title glory. Not only did he help former club Waratahs to the Super Rugby crown back in 2014, but he capped his first season in England by then featuring in Exeter’s maiden title success against Wasps in 2017.
