Adam covered six key steps across the entire project lifestyle: ● making a business case ● system selection ● identifying project managers ● migration and implementation

● how to handle a review or a HMRC nudge letter ● what happens during, and following, a review ● how liabilities are calculated ● common problem areas.

W7 – SUPPORTING EMPLOYEES FROM AUTOMATIC ENROLMENT (AE) TO RETIREMENT Charles Cotton, CIPD In this session, Charles explored how payroll and human resource (HR) teams can build on

Adam used real life examples to explore how system migrations have impacted businesses and payroll specialists.

Charles looked at why organisations should be interested in workplace pensions, how to help employees navigate pension freedoms and the role of pensions in financial well-being. The session finished with a group discussion about different initiatives, which brought the room together, meaning everyone was engaged and included.

W10 – CIPP BITESIZE TRAINING: PARTY SEASON Fiona Smith MCIPPdip, CIPP As we rapidly approach Christmas and, therefore, party season, the CIPP’s Fiona Smith provided a brilliant and engaging

bitesize training session on accurately reporting gifts and staff entertainment for tax and National Insurance contributions (NICs).
