Best Holistic Life Fall Issue 2020

The first thing to do is to go over your day. List everything that you do daily, especially if it is time-consuming. Once the list is completed, break it down into two lists, one should be the tasks that can only be done by YOU. Aim to have it filled with only 30% or less of the tasks from the big list. As for the other list, these are the outsourced tasks, the tasks that can be done by other people on your behalf. Once you have completed this exercise, you should be able to see the difference in your day if you only do that 30% of what you used to do! Keep in mind this will also have another effect on your business, by the end of the day, you are only an expert in your domain. If you are a business coach, you probably don't have much experience in social media marketing. If you are a motivational speaker, then you probably don't have much experience in video editing. The list goes on.

"Once you start outsourcing these tasks, they will be done by professionals in their respective areas."

Even if you attempt to learn these skills, you are still a novice, which means they will not be done properly. This is especially true for the one- time-use-skills. those tasks that need to be done just once or twice throughout your business cycle. Designing a logo, for example, you'll only need it once, maybe a second time in a brand redesign, and that's about it. If you try to learn the skills necessary to create that logo for yourself, you may be able to do it, but it'll take too much time (stress) and too much effort (more stress) as well as not being professionally made, after all, this is your first logo design!
