Within in each chapter, the author offers a variety of different ideas and activities that stimulate the brain in a variety of ways. however, the book also features an “At a Glance” section that gives an approximate time for completion of the task, how many people are required, the intensity level, etc. There are also tips for how to modify an activity to suit each persons’ abilities and a section on how the activity helps those with dementia and memory loss. This is a perfect book for families to share when a loved one receives a diagnosis of dementia, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related condition. It takes a proactive, positive approach to memory loss, putting both the person and the family in the driver’s seat. Available where books are sold.
