Golf Notes Next Monday, October 14, the Club is hosting a private golf tournament and both courses will be restricted. The South Course will be closed all day, and the North Course will open following the event around 5 p.m. Members may utilize the Practice Range beginning at 12 p.m. Please call the Golf Shop with any questions at (302) 655-6022. Due to the Men's Clover Hill Cup being held on the North Course this Friday, October 11, and South Course next Saturday, October 12, we are asking members not playing in the event to reserve starting times in advance. This may be done by utilizing the Foretees app or calling the Golf Shop. Registration for our Glow Ball Golf Tournament on Friday, October 18, is now open. Information and registration link are available here. Fall Junior Golf Classes take place each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school. Click here for more information or to register. Golf Course Notes Tuesday – North Course Front Nine restricted until 11:15 a.m. for Women’s 18-Holers. North Course First Tee restricted from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. for High School golf. Wednesday – North Course Back Nine restricted for Women’s 9-Holers until 11:15 a.m. North Course Front Nine will open at 9:00 a.m. Thursday – North Course Front Nine restricted after 4:30 p.m. for Women’s Golf Social. All other players must by off the Front Nine at this time. Friday – North Course restricted until 6:00 p.m. for Men’s Clover Hill Cup. Saturday – South Course restricted until 4:00 p.m. for Men’s Clover Hill Cup. Monday, October 14 – South Course closed. North Course restricted for private golf tournament outing until 5:00 p.m.

Add sod to rear right of Practice Tee near maple trees. Fix irrigation main line leak between 3 and 6 South. Limbing in the Centennial Garden to promote plant health and also increase sunlight to other varieties in the garden. Lift branches of trees hanging over walkways and cart paths. Topdress clay courts 1-4 with Har Tru for playability. Orchard Update: This week in the orchard, the long awaited Granny Smith are ready and have been tagged. In addition, we have tagged the 2 red rome beauty which are sweet an delicious. All of the golden delicious are also now tagged, and they may be loosing their leaves a bit earlier. But the apples are at their prime sweetness this week. The one variety left, Winesap, will be ready in the next couple weeks.
