K ohler is committed to sustainability and is always searching for ways to avoid wasting something good that can be used to create something beau- tiful. It turns out that this ethos holds true even when it comes to color. After the overwhelmingly positive response to the release of Kohler Heritage Colors collection, the company has continued to revive vivid shades from its past to showcase on their latest products. Recent additions include a verdant selection of Heritage Greens such as Fresh Green, Aspen Green, and Teal. To spread awareness, Kohler partnered with Flamingo Estate, which is both a chris- matic property in the hills of Los Angeles and a luxury lifestyle brand producing soap, honey and olive oil, some harvested directly from the property. “Flamingo Estate is my home and garden, but it’s more than that. It’s a philosophy,” explains owner Richard Christiansen. He notes that, like Kohler, they value quality, time, texture and attention to detail. The result- ing collaboration is called “From Green, Beauty Blooms” and includes photos and video of Kohler Heritage Green products interspersed among the property’s splendid plant life. This emphasizes the value of creating a sense of well-being and connection to nature—whether in the great outdoors or within the walls of your home. Visit kohler.com to see more. ■
