Throughout 2023, the AfriLabs actively engaged and supported AfriLabs’ members through various initiatives: Engaging and Supporting Members
Promoting Linguistic Diversity
Peer-to-Peer Learning and Mentorship
The AfriLabs Office Hours provided opportunities for members to engage in peer-to-peer learning and mentorship, encouraging knowledge exchange and skill development.
The first-ever AfriLabs Language Week featured five languages and was led by seven hubs across different regions, promoting linguistic diversity and inclusion.
Info Sessions and Dialogue Series
Bridging the Gap through Focus Group Discussions
Listening tours and focus group discussions bridged the gap between AfriLabs and the community, providing insights into members’ activities and shaping strategic approaches.
Info sessions and the Dialogue Series facilitated transparent communication and engagement, ensuring members were well- informed and actively involved in decision-making processes.
Facilitating Collaborations
The department facilitated collaborations among hubs, connecting them with partners and resources for project implementation, co-working space access, and event participation.
