STATEMENTS FROM FELLOWS

Thanks to the fellowship, I have a certain opinion/idea related to the role of African governmental organizations in fostering innovation. In addition to it, this experience at the AU made me consider the best way to support innovation in Africa: community building, venture capital, ecosystem enabler, etc. I have already organized the first AI week in Burkina Faso 3 months after the AU and the second edition will be expanded to Cote D'Ivoire. I am starting this year a consulting-led venture studio in a focused geography and technologies. So within the

The fellowship has been a very positive experience. I have learnt a lot about work and myself. I got to know that I’m very proactive and adventurous. Also, it has expanded my network, the people I worked with were very supportive and I learnt a lot from them. Also, I have improved my use of new skills to optimize my productivity. The mentorship sessions challenged me towards self discovery and using soft skills such as negotiation and social skills at the workplace. I have seen improvement in my performance and interaction with people.

next 5 years, I hope to reach several milestones related to this endeavor.
