6. Toolkits: Comprehensive resources on business development and investment management provided to hubs. Impact/Results So Far: 1. Training and Development: 3,029 hub managers and staff trained on topics such as financial management, effective mentoring, and preparing startups for investment. 2. Startup Support: 304 startups supported through business development training, funding, mentoring, and digital profiling. Over 200 of these are female-led startups. 3. Participant Training: 4,287 participants trained, with 62.5% being female, through Virtual Meetup grants activities. 4. Additional Funding: 21 out of 29 hubs that participated in the Capacity Building Awards Programme attracted additional funding, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness in enhancing hub capabilities and investment appeal. The AfriLabs Capacity Building Programme has made significant strides in strengthening the African innovation ecosystem. By providing targeted training, funding, and resources, the ACBP has empowered hubs to support entrepreneurs and startups more effectively, fostering economic growth and innovation across the continent.
