The survey shows that 63% manage their returns without help from an accountant, friends or family. It also reveals that only 5% like the current process while 55% actively dislike it.

HMRC’s Talking Points meetings aim to help make things easier for Agents and their clients, by providing up-to-date information, guidance and tips.
On Friday 12 May from 1pm to 2pm HMRC are hosting an interactive online meeting covering Agent Toolkits. This popular meeting highlights the functionality and benefits of using Agent Toolkits and how they’ll help you complete your clients’ tax returns.
HMRC will also be asking for your feedback on toolkits to develop the service further. This is your opportunity to have your say.

Talking Points – Companies House 16 May 2017
HMRC’s Talking Points meetings aim to help make things easier for Agents and their clients, by providing up-to-date information, guidance and tips.
The focus of this meeting is on Companies House and to digitally enable those types of accounts which currently have to be filed on paper. The ambition is to have enabled digital filing options for 99% of all accounts types by March 2018.
