Purfoy Road near TE Connectivity, Bob Barker Company, and others is already functioning as a large employment village. Upon the widening of Purfoy Road to four-lanes, consideration should be given to the appropriate streetscape and crossing improvements. The median should contain low-growing shrubs as to not impede commercial truck lines of sight. With heavy employment opportunities on both sides of the road, enhanced crossing improvements such as high-visibility crosswalks and flashing hybrid beacons may be necessary. Sidepaths on either side of the road will allow for easy multi-modal connections north to planned mixed use neighborhoods and US 401 businesses.
