Sunset Lake Road is in a unique position to serve as a regional north to south route, but also be an efficient route for local residents. As a mixed-use neighborhood, intersection improvements, and roadway widening come on line, it will be important to balance regional mobility and local access. With existing large subdivisions, such as Bentwinds and Saddle Run, providing pedestrian access and streetscaping can encourage a live, work, play environment and support active transportation, and in turn provide alternative means of local access.
