1989 HONEYMOON
The most important decision of my life is marrying Diane Shooster. Writing this 32 years later, I can tell you we are perfect for each other. I took a few empty canvases and oil paints during our honeymoon in Hawaii. During the trip, I found time to paint with oils. Traveling with a wet canvas takes work. Pairs of wet canvas were
placed front-to-front with pins in between to keep them from getting ruined. Then, just before heading home, the paintings were left with a frame shop that was told to let them dry for a month and frame them in a local wood. A few weeks later, they arrived, framed in Koa wood.
