Uncle Marvin was a professional jeweler, pianist, and composer. Music was his greatest love. The highlight of his career was when The Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra played his completed composition. Here, he is in his studio apartment in New York City. I bought my paints, and he, with his surly attitude, lectured me about making a mess. I’m glad I used selective listening and completed this painting.
