The poem reads: Motions to mouth, the strike of Match, inhale mouth, hunger - eating - munch (Tangents) - Phasing, Placid - Static, Pulsation, Dialation - Restriction. As René Magritte, one of the most famous surrealist artists, once said: “To be a surrealist means barring from your mind all remembrance of what you have seen and being always on the lookout for what has never been.” “Overworked Drawing” can be seen as part of the ongoing exploration of surrealism that began in the early 20th century and continues to this day.
