The Supplier Award for Environmental Leadership was given to Flexo Concepts, a TLMI supplier mem- ber who over the past year has collaborated with the owner-occupant of their building to install a photo- voltaic system on the roof. The system produces 100 percent of the energy used by the company and the building’s other ten- ants. The solar array installation, completed over a five-month period, included 850 panels, 40 power in- verters and all the materials required to connect the solar energy to the building and electric grid. ICE USA 2019 Issues Call For Industry Expert Speakers ICE USA: The International Converting Exhibition is inviting industry professionals to submit propos- als to lead educational sessions during the event. These daily educational sessions will be a stage for sharing industry developments, trends, case stories, and solutions applicable to the packaging, paper, non-woven and adhesive industry professionals that attend ICE USA. The exhibition is scheduled for April 9-11, 2019, at the newly renovated Kentucky International Con- vention Center in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. “One of the highlights of ICE USA has always been the strong line-up of speakers, industry fundamental workshops, and technical education sessions for pro- fessionals at all levels in the converting industry,” said Matt Fyffe, Vice President and General Manager of Meech International. The 2019 show will have three distinct educational components available to attendees.The AIMCAL Fun- damental courses are one-day in-depth training ses- sions held the day before the show floor opens. For engineers and operations personnel, the ICE USA Technical Conference highlights new advances in technology and processes in a variety of converting disciplines. The Future of Converting Theater on the show floor is focused on presenting the latest in industry developments for operators, managers and execu- tives alike.
