TLMI Rewards Label Excellence
Brook & Whittle Buys Prime Package Brook and Whittle Holdings, Corp., Nor th Branford, Connecticut, a provider of pressure sensitive and shrink sleeve prime labels to con- sumer and medical end use markets, has investmented in Prime Package & Label Co., LLC, St. Louis, Missouri, a producer of pressure sensitive, shrink sleeve and heat transfer la- bels into a variety of consumer end markets. Similar to Brook & Whittle, Prime is exclusively focused on growth-oriented categories of the broader prime label market. The combination of Brook &Whit- tle and Prime increases end market, customer and geographic diversifi- cation while maintaining a strong growth focus. Prime expands Brook & Whittle’s manufacturing footprint from the Nor theast to the Midwest and Southeast with facilities in St. Louis and Nashville, Tennessee. Brook & Whittle is majority owned by pri- vate equity firm Snow Phipps Group, LLC. The terms of the trans- action were not disclosed.

A panel of 12 judges, each representing a different TLMI supplier member, gathered near TLMI’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, over the sum- mer to closely examine all Paul Teachout, Judging Commit- tee Chair, ( far left ) presents James DeFife of Multi-Color Corporation North America the Best of Show Award. Multi-Color Corp. ( above ) was awarded Best In Show at the recent TLMI annual meeting for its Sidewinder Spirits label.
