Bodacious Rhythm & Blues Salvia This striking salvia was the top pick from PlantHaven’s fall open house in 2016 and it certainly put on a springtime display every bit as impressive. This new x guaranitica hybrid from specialist salvia breeder Kermit Carter puts on an exceptional show.This new hybrid has medium sized dark green foliage, maintaining the dark color throughout the season. Plants are covered with long flowers stems, elegant black calyxes that carry the larger saturated dark blue flowers.These plants were real hummingbird magnets at the trials and displayed a rich color that really grabbed our eyes.

Cocktail Culture Also new this year at PlantHaven was their new Cocktail Culture Guide. It was certainly a fun way to present the cultural growing requirements of each of their signature plants for this season, as
each was paired along with a custom cocktail and recipe to enjoy after a long hard day in the nursery.
