It took nearly 10 years to develop Sunfinity, Syngenta’s branded sunflower that offers nonstop blooming, multiple branches and more flowers all season long. Unlike traditional sunflowers that produce one flower late in the season and then die, Sunfinity will continually bloom, with an average of 50 blooms per plant from late spring through late summer or fall.These vigorous sunflowers will grow to garden heights of 36 to 48 inches and widths of 24 to 36 inches and are ideal for large garden spaces and patios. Obsession Cascade Verbena Another unique innovation in breeding, this is the first-ever trailing verbena offered from seed. Obsession Cascade will quickly fill pots and baskets with vibrant, one-of-a-kind flower patterns. Obsession Cascade is hearty and continues to perform and flower in the garden through summer conditions and makes a great value item for hanging baskets and combinations. Calliope Medium and Large Last year, Syngenta introduced the first Calliope Medium varieties, and renamed the existing varieties as Calliope Large.The new classification has definitely helped growers program these groups of very impressive interspecific geraniums.The medium varieties are better suited for quart and gallon containers and now come in three colors, including Deep Rose, Red and Violet. The large varieties that are stellar for hanging baskets and landscapes have two new additions;:Calliope Large Magenta and Calliope Large Salmon.
