New Tech You’ll Actually Use SMARTER GADGETS FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
Technology moves fast, and keeping up with the latest releases can be hard. But not every shiny new gadget deserves your attention. However, a few standouts are worth watching as they hit store shelves in 2025. The latest Consumer Electronics Show at the beginning of this year spotlighted the newest products that promise to make life easier, more connected, and more fun. One example? The Even Realities G1 glasses. Unlike other smart glasses, these look like regular eyewear but are packed with features. They have turn-by-turn navigation, a quick note display, and even a teleprompter mode that could change how presenters and content creators work on the fly. Then there’s the AMP fitness machine. This compact home gym is a smart all-in-one system that trades bulky weight plates and in-person training for digital weights and a companion mobile workout app. The best part? It takes up about as much space as a slim but tall nightstand.
Gamers will want to check out the OhSnap MCON. This simple gadget turns any smartphone into a handheld gaming device. It gives off serious PSP Go vibes for a nostalgic feel and avoids the clunky attachments associated with similar devices like the Backbone. And if you’re the kind of person who loses their wallet every other week, keep your eye out for the MOFT MagSafe Wallet. It’s sleek, functional, and compatible with Apple Find My, so you’ll never lose your wallet again. It even has a built-in 70dB chirp feature for when you’re sure it’s somewhere nearby but can’t quite spot it. All these products have something simple in common: They solve problems without overcomplicating things. Today’s best tech focuses on offering smart design and useful features built to fit into real life rather than just impress in a flashy demo.
WHAT I LEARNED THIS SUMMER
INSIDE MY INTERNSHIP AT EVANS MOORE
while helping with the litigation process and received invaluable advice, feedback, and encouragement from every attorney at the firm. My experience also gave me new insights that shaped my perspective about the practice of law. I learned that every client is unique, and achieving justice requires an investment in knowing them on a personal level. The reality of practicing law involves many emotions, feelings, and concerns from clients simply seeking to return to their way of life before they were wronged or injured. This summer, I watched the lawyers at Evans Moore support clients facing a range of injuries and difficult situations. I saw how stressful litigation can be and how important it is for lawyers to guide clients through every step. Seeing the attention and care the Evans Moore team gave every client showed me the responsibility attorneys carry and the trust placed in them because of it. Learning law takes time. After completing my first year of law school,
I felt excited and prepared to begin my internship. I quickly realized, however, that there were many concepts I did not yet know. My classroom education gave me a solid foundation, but applying the law in the real world was more complex and nuanced. The attorneys at Evans Moore showed me it takes practice and repetition to understand the law. I also saw how essential it is to learn from a skilled team and to approach the work with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to tackle tough problems. My internship helped me understand the value of multiple perspectives, and I saw how great attorneys anticipate the unexpected, think quickly, and argue creatively. Though I still have much to learn, my experience with Evans Moore gave me the confidence and motivation to keep growing my understanding of the law.
“We take it personally” are the first words I heard about Evans Moore. From witnessing hearings and depositions to researching litigation and assisting with a jury trial that resulted in a substantial verdict for the firm’s client, I saw what those words meant during my internship with Evans Moore this summer. My summer internship at the firm helped me learn and grow as a law student — not only in the areas I had hoped, but also in many ways I did not anticipate. I assisted with various cases and witnessed the skill, care, and dedication necessary to handle complicated legal matters. I encountered new challenges and learning opportunities
