6.1 Connecting the Centers of Energy

they certainly have room for growth and improvement.

No matter how large or small a place, natural “centers of energy” can always be identified. These are the places where one finds the most activity on a regular basis. Something about these places attracts people to them more than other areas. They are the embers that we can use to begin to spread that energy and activity elsewhere. And, while these individual spots are working,

Downtown Wake Forest has two major centers of energy: the Historic Core along White Street and the Renaissance Plaza Shopping Center. They are currently operating independently; we must connect them.
