BLAKE PUGH, PT, BS, MPT, CERT. DN Getting To Know The Crabapple PT Staff!

Blake is the Clinic Director of Crabapple Physical Therapy. He completed his

balance assessment and treatment, examination and treatment of myofascial pain, and numerous manual therapy courses. Blake is certified in Dry Needling and is a Graston Technique provider. As a clinical instructor, he enjoys assisting physical therapy students towards becoming practicing clinicians. Blake enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels to support them along the road to recovery and educating them with the knowledge he has gained. He is grateful for the opportunity to assist patients and provide treatment whether manual or exercise based depending on their individual needs. Blake is married with three active children and enjoys playing golf, softball, hiking, coaching youth sports and watching college football.

undergraduate and graduate coursework at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Blake has ten years working experience in Outpatient and Inpatient Physical Therapy. He has worked with three different hospital organizations as a Physical Therapist including Piedmont, Union General, and WellStar Health System. Prior to completing his Master’s in Physical therapy, he worked in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Blake is a two-time recipient of the Heart of Fayette Award and has an extensive background in manual therapy. Blake is continuously enriching his knowledge with professional education coursework.
