Role purpose This role is principally involved with re safety management delivery, discharging the university’s legal duties and providing evidence of compliance in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The role will support the Head of Fire Assurance in providing planned and reactive re safety management and support by the way of advising, auditing and coaching key services across the Directorate of Estates & Facilities. This includes but is not limited to projects, capital development and maintenance services, ensuring that the university is safe and complies with relevant legislation. Candidates will have experience and documented capability of operational re safety management across a multi-site organisation and bring with them practical and management experience. The successful candidate is expected to be a strong team player and be able to build bene cial working relationships. They will be passionate about service delivery and be committed to the organisation’s vision and values with the ability to inspire, motivate and empower those around them.
