When we opened our doors in 1987, we introduced a new concept to the contract furniture industry. We launched our 48-hour manufacturing time and we did it on every chair, fabric & leather.
The Process
While our quick ship process is customized & not prescribed, the following shows the typical timeline of an approved project being handled on a quick ship schedule. ORDER: 1 day to process Includes series with quick ship schedules using approved, in-stock fabrics & textiles. Processed on working business days by noon pacific time.
BUILD: 48-hours to build Number of products able to be produced are based on the series, model # & 48-Hour Manufacturing schedules (ie. 2 business days). Schedules can be found in the price book & online.
SHIP: 1 day to ship it out Products are processed and shipped out on working business days. Any additional transit time begins once the product ships out of the Via Seating factory.
As we understand not all products are needed on quick ship, your ship or delivery date must be clearly included on your PO. Important Details: • Orders received after noon pacific time start the next business day; • Quick ship excludes weekends, holidays & scheduled factory closures; • Quick Ship does not include delays from mills in supplying textiles; • Quick Ship does not include shipment time once the product ships out.
