After more than 60 years of service at the point where design meets industry, the iF organisation’s design awards have become an established marketing instrument for the awarded participants and their designs. Each year, companies subject their products and services to the rigorous testing of the iF Design Award and this year DRW were thrilled to be awarded an iF design award 2015 for its SAMBA II instruments. The competition was fierce; an international jury assessed almost 5,000 entries from 53
countries in order to determine who would receive this coveted seal of excellence. DRW joined Chesterford in early 2015 and currently occupy five suites in Science Village. The company, a spinout from the Diagnostic Development Unit of Cambridge University has the Wellcome Trust and University of Cambridge as shareholders. DRW is committed to tackling some of the world’s most serious infectious diseases by making breakthrough point-of care diagnostics, developed in the
