TENNIS at ORPS We are well into our 2019/2020 season. Our first Horserace was held on Saturday November 2. It was well attended for this early in our season. The people below were our winners!
We have already had more excitement than we needed on one of our courts. Our good friend Roger suffered a heart attack and through the heroic efforts of some of our members he was revived and came to our first meeting to offer his thanks. We’re all so glad it ended well.
A big shout out to our 65 plus ladies USTA team. They won their league here and went to Sectionals. They walked away with the spirit award. They indeed represented ORPS with their winning spirit! You gals rock!!
We also had our first potluck/barbecue of the year. We had 38 in attendance and the food was delicious. Gordon “interviewed” some new members and it was quite informative.
