Cocktail: The Parasol

Wintertime is perfect for something light and refreshing in your glass. And who doesn’t love a few bubbles? So break out those champagne flutes - better yet an old fashioned coupe - and say ohhhhh, ahhhhh! Really it’s perfect for anytime of the year, cheers! This recipe is one of our favorites from the Paris Club in Chicago and we love that they use Lillet Blanc, which is a wine based aperitif that is light with a crisp citrus aroma and a mild sweetness. It also makes a delicious spritz with sparkling water and fresh fruit in the springtime or summer.

Ingredients

.5 ounces Lillet Blanc .5 ounces St. Germain .5 ounces honey syrup (equal parts honey and water combined)

.75 ounces lemon juice 3 ounces champagne

Recipe

Add ice to shaker with all ingredients except champagne and shake for 10 seconds . Strain into a champagne flute. Top with champagne.
