Wednesday Garage Tour O nce again, the Outlaws Car Club of Pueblo has volunteered to host the Rocky Mountain Nationals Garage Tour around town to some of the best shops featuring some local projects and some unique Man Caves. The tour will leave Melburgers at 8:30am, be sure and come early to attend the drivers meeting and pick up a map and enjoy some coffee and a great cinnamon roll. The club is working on the shops that will be on the tour this year so if you live in the Pueblo area and would like to have your shop on the tour feel free to contact Ted at 719-320-9210. Event Registration The Pueblo Convention Center will again serve as the location for Event Registration at the Rocky Mountain Nationals and will begin at 12 noon on Thursday, June 26, until 6pm, Friday morning it will re- open at 9am until 6pm, and Saturday hours are 9am to 12pm. Be sure and bring your confirmation letter and membership card for a smooth experience. The parking garage across the street will be open with free parking for participants and Safety Inspections will be available. Kick-Off Party & BBQ Once again the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the BBQ dinner and Kick-Off Party at the Rocky Mountain Nationals on Thursday night. The location is right on the fairgrounds with lots of parking and plenty of shade. The 4H building will be the place, which has lots of seating so everyone can sit and enjoy the food and friend- ship of fellow rodders. This is a major highlight of the event and a great time to visit with friends you haven’t seen all year and enjoy some great food. Be sure and put this on your schedule. On Site Camping Camping on site at the fairgrounds during the Rocky Mountain Nationals sells out every year so if you want a space you need to reach out to them right away at 719-404-2023, ask for Tracy. Most of the reg- ular campers that come to this event every year try and make their reser- vation for the next year before they leave. Tracy does offer a waiting list just in case someone cancels. The only campers that can stay on the fair- grounds during the event are participants and exhibitors. If you want to camp next to one of your friends, please coordinate with Tracy.
