I love the name, but the Camaro won (which Chevy defined as a small viscous animal that eats Mustangs) and was

designed to be sportier than a Mustang. The Camaro’s front suspension/subframe were updated by Ron and Sandy with the addition of Air Ride, Wilwood brakes and subframe connectors. The rear is a posi-equipped Moser Engineering 12-bolt mounted on Calvert Racing split mono-leaf springs with CalTracs traction bars. Sadly, the matching numbers 396 spun a bearing (and now hides in the garage), but that was also a chance for Ron and Sandy to slip in a 496ci replacement from Blueprint with 650 horses. The oversized and forged 496 breathes through a Holley 750, a Brodix intake, Blueprint aluminum heads, ignites the mixture with APRIL 2025 67
