GRACE WALLACE Grace Wallace from Blue Hill, ME, got her ’88 Chevrolet 1500 from her dad. Dad straightened out the body and put on the flat black paint, got the 305/700R4 running well, and wrapped the steelies with Douglas rubber.
ISSAC WRIGHT Issac Wright from Colorado Springs, CO, and family had a great time getting his ’68 Chevy El Camino ready for the road. The classic El Camino features family-done bodywork and green paint, 17-inch five-spoke wheels, a peanut butter leather interior, a billet steering wheel, and a 327 SBC engine backed up by a 700R4 automatic overdrive.
GAVIN MILLER Gavin Miller from Fredonia, Kansas, got his ’48 Chevy 3100 from his grandpa. The paint and bodywork are from past owners in the original dark green. Grandpa took care of the tan interior, while the duo
teamed up on the chassis that has a Mustang II IFS, a leaf spring rear suspension, 15- inch Cragars, and a Chevy
350/TH350 powertrain.
JAMES FOREMAN Some of my favorite cars are the ‘59 and ’60 Chevy BelAir, but they are ‘Plain Jane’ boring compared to the stunning Buicks (and Olds) from those years. James Foreman from Springfield, MO, found his ’60 Buick Electra 225 in a garage in Long Island, NY, and has been loving it for the last year. The factory cruiser features a 401 Nailhead powerplant, a Dynaflow automatic tranny, a slammed stance, and golden paint from lord knows where. Love the Buick and can’t wait to see it develop over the years.
