J ohn & Heidi Pappert’s ’39 Ford was on the April ’88 cover, the coupe from Kitchener, ONT,
English hot rodders, Galvin Appleby & Keith Siddle of Northumberland, England, had become increasingly
bigger and better things. In Street Sweeper, NSRA Michigan State Rep John Moffett compiled some interesting statistics based on the December issue on what a street rod was worth. He broke down the Street Sale Under 21 featured “A Tribute to a Legend,” a group of high school students in Crawfordsville, IN, who rebuilt a classic ’46 Willys Jeep as a class project.

T he cover of the April ’08 issue was a true family affair as John, Dina, Colton and Courtney Harding all had a hand in

In Street Sweeper, NSRA Rep service pins were given out to field force volunteers. Those receiving 15-year pins were Don Colucci & Jim Carr; 20-year pins Randy Davis, John Moffett & Wayne Pallet; safety inspections with 16,572 being
setting up the scene for the winning Photo Contest cover of their two Chevy- powered street rods. In Curbside, the
25-year pins Jim Green, Charlie Myers, Will Drake & Bob Ulanowicz; 35-year pin Jim Kilmer. Guy & Deanna Ramseur’s ’34 Ford won Best of Show at the annual Spring River Car Club’s Car Show in Hardy, AR.
