PEPPER SPRAY Personal alarms are a great option if you’re in an area surrounded by others, but if you’re ever alone, there will be no one around to hear the siren and call for help. In this situation you would want another safety tool, like pepper spray, that allows you to physically defend yourself. Personal alarms are perfect for traveling. They’re TSA-approved, legal to carry around the world, and a great option for concerts or sporting venues where pepper spray may not be allowed. They’re also a great safety option for younger children. They easily hook onto a backpack or lunchbox and all the child needs to do is press a button or pull out the chain if they were separated from you in a parking lot or on a playground. We recommend a personal alarm for children 8 years old and above. Pepper spray is only legal for those 18 and up.
