The participants can explain how to utilize the tools required for blade inspection and repair in a correct and safe manner (Knowledge, intermediate level)
Training staff shall:
Describe which tools are required for blade inspection and repair processes
Describe the principle of the operation of electrical and pneumatic grinders, sanders and drills
Explain the risks associated with electrical and pneumatic grinders, sanders and drills
Explain how to safely and correctly use electrical and, pneumatic grinders, sanders and drills by considering guarding, personal protective equipment and ergonomic practices
Explain how to safely and correctly use a pneumatic glue gun
Explain how to safely and correctly use a manual glue gun
Describe the principle of the operation of a vacuum pump
Explain how to use a vacuum pump and how to protect the pump from excess resin using a resin trap
Explain the risks and hazards associated with working with a low resistance ohmmeter or equivalent
Explain how to safely and correctly use a low resistance ohmmeter or equivalent
Ask the participants relevant questions about how to correctly and safely use the tools required for blade inspection and repair
The participants shall:
Explain in their own words and share their understanding of how to correctly and safely use the tools required for blade inspection and repair
Training staff shall:
Give constructive feedback on the participants’ explanations about how to correctly and safely use the tools required for blade inspection and repair
