CLUB E ditor ' s N ote : Some months ago a suggestion was made concerning the thought o f establishing a Christian Stamp Club. In this means, members would seek to exchange dupli cates with one another. In addition, a possible means of securing new issues from foreign countries where mission aries are serving would be explored. The following are some o f the responses. I f you have an interest, we invite you to let us

know. telic Society which is a professional organization lending prestige as well as much assistance. I would be very happy to be of assistance to you if possible in organizing such a club if interest warrants. Richard L. Kelley, Program Department, Christian Service Brigade, Wheaton, Illinois I am ten years old and have a stamp collection. My mother started one when she was 13, but hers burned in a house fire, so she encouraged me to save stamps. I have some foreign ones from missionaries but not many. My folks were in Liberia two years, but don’t have many left since the fire. I am interested in the Club. Our church is saving stamps for a missionary in Asia who gives them as prizes for memorizing verses. Shirley Knutson, Junction City, Oregon A few years ago my brother-in-law gave me his whole stamp collection. He is now attending Biola College. His collection consists of foreign and Unit ed States stamps. I am willing to trade by mail if that is what it takes to join your Club. Please give information about what to do. Becky Dick, Age 13, Lodi, California I have been interested in the collec tion of postage stamps and would like to participate in your Christian club. In November o f 1965 I suffered a stroke and in the months following, for something to do with my time, I became interested in a collection o f stamps I had gathered over the years. My spe cialty at the present is o f past United States issues. I do have a few foreign stamps in my possession. Larry Funk, San J o » , California We are interested in your Christian stamp club. We have just started a collection and have not decided on a speciality as yet. Mr. and Mn. George L. King, San Dlogo, Calif. THE KING'S BUSINESS

I’m surely interested in participating in your Christian Stamp Club. I’ve often wished that there might be such an organization. I’ve saved stamps since before World War II, so have many duplicates. I have a world-wide album including stamps from almost every country. I especially like the ani mal, flower and flag stamps, but really have no specialty right now. It would be helpful if we could get mint stamps from missionaries in other countries. I have received letters from foreign missionaries and save the cancelled stamps. It would be wonderful to get some from Israel. Doris Lindgren, Anaheim, California My husband and I both collect stamps. We are just beginners, but we are interested in U.S. and foreign. Our special interest is post cards, hunting stamps, postage due, and special deliv ery stamps. Mrs. Eugene Smith, Ford, Washington I have been interested in collecting stamps for many years and the idea of a Christian club is good. My collection is not very large, but I receive a lot of enjoyment from it. I have a special interest in South America and Asian issues. Harlow Young, Chattaroy, Washington With a wife and five children my collection has had to be limited so now I am majoring in U.S., United Nations, and Africa roughly since 1935. I have often been disappointed in receiving in ferior quality stamps so an exchange where people could be trusted would be welcome. Jim Piske, Eugene, Oregon I was thrilled to see your column in THE KING’S BUSINESS magazine, fo r I am interested in participating in a Christian Stamp Club. It should be based on sound principles. I suggest that it belong to the American Phila-
