Commencement of Year.
TttE OFFICIAL REGISTER. — Entries of appointments and changes should be made promptly, and should correspond with entries made in the Minutes kept by the Church Clerk.
THE CHRONOLOGICAL REGISTER. — Enter all names in the Chronological Register in the order of their dates, giving a Chronological Register number when received, and a Changes
Register number when again entering the name on leaving.
THE ALPHABETICAL REGISTER. — Names shonld be
immediately after the first entry in

time, but simply enter the Changes
Register number to the
right side of the name previously entered.
ANNUAL SUMMARIES — These should
at the close of each
year, and must, of
course, correspond with the Statistics given in the Church
Letter given to the Association.
One line of each Summary contains the entire facts for a single year.
COPIES OF CHURCH LETTERS. — Before sending the Church Letter to the Association, make an exact copv of the entire letter on the sheet provided at hack of the hook. If necessary,
the bodv of the letter may be written closer than the ruled lines provide.
