This fifth word calls for a real confiding trust. We need great patience if we rest in Him. Come un- to me, He says, and I will give you rest (Mass 11:28). Rest and Wait. We may test our spiritual condition by our ability to rest and wait. The world is full of un- rest. In the world we have tribula- tion, in Him we have peace (Jno. 16: 33).

is great danger lest anger breed mur- der. Put a stop to it. Keep quiet; let not the sun go down upon thy wrath (Eph. 4:26-30, Jas. 1:19-20). Depart, vs. 29. Turn your back upon evil. Part company with sin. Let the wicked forsake his ways. Bid goodbye to such false company. What concord hath Christ with Belial? Abandon evil ways and works. Separate from evil companions. Walk with God in the light of His word. (2 Tim. 2:19, Titus 2:11-14). Wait, vs. 34. Let patience have her perfect work. The Lord waited on us for a long time (Jas. 5:7). He yet waits to bless us. Wait on Him and wait for Him (Luke 12:36). We have turned from idols to serve the living and true God and to wait for His Son irom heaven (1 Thess. 1:9-10).

Cease, vs. 8. Anger burns the fuel of our vitality. Saps our strength. There

The Bible Women.

There are as many inquiries concern- ing the plan, scope and real purpose of this work among women, which has been so wonderfully owned of God, we will endeavor, as concisely as possible, to answer the leading questions at this time. There are at present (1910) eight Bible Women under the immediate di- rection of Mrs. T. C. Horton, who plans all work, but urges each worker to in-

dividual responsibilty to and liberty in the Lord regarding all details. The entire work has so many branches it is most difficult to state fully its many ramifications. A district is assigned each woman, its probabilities and possibilities dis- cussed and made a subject of prayer, followed by faithful visitation with the Book in hand. Homes are opened for
