Within the DPW's framework of implementation of actions aimed at the active engagement in, and ongoing commitment of its collaborators with activities guided by the company principles, such as volunteering, policy awareness, commitment with Health and Safety, we are developing an incentive platform, through a game of chance (roulette), in order to promote employees' engagement in as many actions proposed as possible. The aim is to get our staff's interest (from analysts to heads and managers) to encourage engagement in specific actions, proposed by any area of the company, aligned with the different awareness and communication strategies driven by DPW. So as to reach such goal, we are developing a ludic fun application, "The Roulette", which only TRP employees may voluntarily access through their cellphones/computers.

ENCOURAGE ENGAGEMENT

HR defines the time period for each game cycle. The roulette wheel shall be divided into the number of employees that take part in the cycle. Every activity or challenge informed of in the application has a specific score, for example: Collecting 20 caps is worth 10 points, attending a CPR course is worth 50 points, completing the SMA trivia will have a score based on the number of correct answers, etc. Employees accumulate scores as they participate in the activities or challenges. The more they participate, the higher the score they accumulate, and the more their participation percentage in the roulette grows, the higher their chances to win will be. Once the cycle is over, the roulette is set in motion and, randomly, it indicates who the winner of the cycle is.

ENCOURAGE TEAMWORK MAIN ASPECT OF THE PLATFORM EMPLOYEES PLAYING IN TEAMS For each time period of the game, a player will have a one-time possibility to join another one, adding points together. In this way the team will have more chances to win compared to those who are playing individually. The commitment to participate in the different activities will also be proposed by each member of the team (not by the company) so that they can add the same number of points together being both in equal conditions. This new modality is key to promote teamwork while on other incentive platforms it is just the company the one which encourages its employees to participate. With this modality, the company makes the proposal and one member of the duo encourages the other one to play as a real team. BENEFITS: Benefits for the areas / company: Providing a tool to ALL DPW areas, facilitating message delivery. Benefit for our collaborators: Feeling they are part of a company that rewards, recognizes and values their commitment.

¿CÓMO ES EL JUEGO?

A). El juego dura el tiempo que marque la cuenta regresiva.

B). Durante ese tiempo, tu paicipación en distintas actividades suma chances para ganar.

C). Al finalizar la cuenta regresiva se activa la rueda de la founa que indicará el ganador del juego.

ADVANTAGES AND CHANCES:

1) Players may play individually or they may form 2-member teams for every game cycle. The big advantage of this is that the commitment is generated by their coworkers, and the company only proposes the action. The commitment to participate in XXX activity is higher when it's proposed by a coworker than when it's proposed by the company. 2) For each game cycle we can have 2 winners: - Winner determined by the roulette: - A winner determined RANDOMLY by the roulette - A winner for commitment: The winner for commitment (who gets more points in the game) will also get a prize, as well as regional exposure, together with the winners for commitment from the rest of the terminals in the region.

A few examples of Regional/Global exposure: The 2023 Commitment Program may be launched, which mainly recognizes and gives extra benefits to those who are part of this program: - Interview them to upload the interviews to Connection so as to encourage the rest of their coworkers (see "A Day in the Life of xxxx"); - Post it on social networks and internal communications, giving them visibility and congratulating them on their commitment; - It should enable them to have a sharing experience for xxx time working at another terminal in the region…. The possibilities are endless...

ADVANTAGES AND CHANCES:

3) Participants accrue chances individually and also for their sector/area, encouraging collective work and enhancing interpersonal interaction in the area. At the end of the game cycle, the area with more chances is awarded a collective prize (a platter, lunch, etc.). 4) Unlike other incentive programs, on the Chances platform we have a customizable time counter. (1 month, 2 months, etc.) Generating GAME CYCLES enhances commitment. Employees know that they should commit to participating in actions, as they are RUNNING OUT OF TIME, and a NEW WINNER is being determined. 5) Actions for more difficult challenges get more chances/points, as these are customizable.

"ONLY TODAY" actions... such actions will be visible only for 24 hrs., and the commitment of the employees who wish to win those chances shall be immediate. 7) The game allows to propose actions that, in themselves, encourage even more commitment. For example: an employee may carry out action A (100 chances) if, before, they carried out action B (20 chances). 8) Savings: As there are 3 prizes for every game cycle (1 roulette winner, 1 commitment winner, 1 group prize for the winning area), costs are reduced because we don't need to have prizes to redeem points. (100 points: wine glasses, 200 points: a hairdryer, etc., etc.). The logistics is simpler too, as only 3 prizes are determined. It is very important that the prizes are very tempting.
