from an initially confrontational foundation to a more structured entity reflecting diverse geographical, political and cultural affiliations, all while maintaining remarkable internal cohesion despite ideological divergence. The paper highlights how stadiums have become platforms for expressing positions on national issues—most notably the question of territorial integrity. Ultras groups have effectively mobilised national and religious symbols to affirm their alignment with foundational state principles, particularly loyalty to the monarchy. The study also notes the emergence of tendencies within some groups aiming to reconcile Ultras culture with prevailing religious and societal values, amid a broader spectrum of ideological references including leftist, nationalist, religious and Amazigh currents. The findings suggest that Moroccan Ultras have become active participants in the country’s national dynamics, contributing to the reconfiguration of youth engagement with national identity through their assertive stance on sovereign issues—while remaining within the bounds of national consensus. Keywords: Moroccan Ultras, youth movements, national identity, sports arena, national symbols, ideological affiliations, territorial integrity, political culture.
