derived from society contributes to reinforcing its legitimacy and enhancing its stability and effectiveness. It adopts a composite methodology that draws from the approaches of political culture, systems theory, decision-making and institutionalism, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between societal culture and the structure of political authority. Through a review of literature and an examination of the concepts shaping society and its political system, the study concludes that the absence of a link between the political system and the political culture of society leads to legitimacy crises and chronic instability. Conversely, strengthening political legitimacy derived from cultural consensus represents the fundamental guarantor of the political system’s stability and sustainability. The study argues for the necessity of establishing political systems on the cultural foundations of societies, promoting popular participation and building institutions rooted in cultural and social realities to ensure effective and stable governance.
