ACTIVE ADULT PROGRAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Refund Policy A $3 refund fee will automatically be applied to each program unless the program is canceled by the Village of Willowbrook. We make every attempt to be refund-friendly; however, no requested refunds are guaranteed. Prorated refunds will be issued only if our contract with the outside agency enables the Village of Willowbrook to recover the costs. Canceling within 7 days of program date automatically results in no refund possible. Customers are responsible for all fees already paid to outside agencies. Resident Rates Resident Rates will be applied to residents of the Village of Willowbrook, the Burr Ridge Park District, the Village of Hinsdale, and the Darien Park District. Pleasant Dale Park District will receive resident rates on Long Distance Extended Travel. Scoop Participants The programs in The Scoop are open to those 50 years of age and older from any community. Registration Requirements All programs (with or without a fee) require pre-registration . If there is a fee, payment will be required at the time of registration. We cannot hold spots without payment. Registration Limits & Waitlists All programs have registration limits. Placement on a waiting list is encouraged if a program is full. You will be contacted if a spot opens for you. Programs will be canceled if they do not meet the minimum enrollment. Be sure to register early. Program Changes/Updates All programs and their details are subject to change due to a wide variety of circumstances. We do our best to keep programs running as advertised; however, some things may be out of our control. If a change is required, any and all changes or updates will be relayed to all registered participants. Allergies Participants are fully responsible for alerting Village of Willowbrook staff to any serious allergies at the time of every registration and at the start of each program. Program Locations Programs are held at various locations. Be sure to note the location of each activity. Participant Communication Our main form of communication will be via email unless no email is on file. Please pay close attention to your email for program updates and update the office of any changes. Those without email may call the Recreation Office the day before the program to receive updates. Program Arrival Times Arriving at least 15 minutes before your program is a must.
