De Clarence Creek, Ont., est décédée le lundi 7 décembre 2015, à l’âge de 84 ans. Elle était l’épouse de feu Georges Philion, la lle de feu Jean Meunier et de feu Pauline Graveline. Elle laisse ses 2 lles: Johanne (Luc Thivierge) et Lynne (Pierre Drouin); ses 10 petits-enfants et ses 9 arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par ses 3 ls: Gérard, Régent et André. Elle laisse également sa grande amie Denise Pérusse, plusieurs beaux- frères, belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille désire remercier l’équipe du Centre d’accueil Roger Séguin pour les petites intimités et les grands soins prodigués. Jonathan Cameron againminded the Rockland goal for the entire game. The lone Outaouais goal came from Maxime Duguay with assists from Jérémi Lafrenière and Paul Markhauser. Splitting the goal duties were Luca Dobsky andMarc- Olivier Landry. The Nats are across the Ottawa River Friday night to play Gatineau-Hull Volant. They keep on the road in Québec Sunday afternoon going up against the Papineauville Vikings at l’Aréna Joseph-Lucien Malo in Papineauville. NCJHL action returns to Rockland Dec. 19, with a Saturday night game for the Nats against the Embrun Panthers followed by a Sunday afternoon home match against the Cumberland Bandits.
The RocklandNationals burned up the ice in their latest back-to-back wins over the Dec. 6 weekend. The Nats began by grounding the North Dundas Rockets 5-3 Saturday night at the Chesterville Arena. Jeff Brett punched in a pair of goals for Rockland with Benoît Brunet, Miguel Crispin and Garrett Reed, topping up the scoreboard with solo goals. Crispin and Reed also assisted on some of the goal-scoring as did Matthew Clifford, Vincent Martel, Raphael Payant, and Ni- kolas Spirito. Jonathan Cameron guarded the Rockland net for the entire game. Scoring singles for the Rockets were Justin Cyr, BrandonMullin, and Justin Rutley. Goal assists came from Mullin, Rutley, Jordan Ruby, Tyson Sherrer, and Harry Wyss. Tho- mas Lastewka warded the NorthDundas net. The Nats blew away l’Académie Jr. Ou- taouais in Sunday afternoon’s home game at the Clarence-Rockland Arena. Martel

The Clarence-Rockland Lightning Novice House Girls’ hockey teamhad great success in the past fewweeks.They were the tournament champions of the North Bay Ice Boltz Tournament in the first week of November, and the silver-medal tournament finalists at the GCGH Kickin’ Ice in the Capital tournament in Gloucester the first week of December. Blazing on the Lightning team this year are players Harmony Beauchamp, Callia Blais, Ozaka Brassard, Anna Charest, Zoé Chartrand, Keera Downton, Myriam Gaudreau, Sara Gendron-Steele, Emmanuelle Johnson, Lauriane Lavictoire, Danika Leroux, Zoë Pepin, Mélina Pérusse, Safya Richer, Chloé Saumure and KaydynWahay. Supporting the Lightning blitz are Head Coach Serge Lavictoire, Trainer Christine Brassard, Manager Mélanie Leroux, and Assistant Coaches Mathieu Blais, Sylvie Charest, Jasmin Gaudreau and Eric Pérusse.
