HP Introduces New Intelligent Automation Solutions At Dscoop HP introduced new Intelligent Automation capabilities with the launch of HP Nio and new features for HP PrintOS, HP Site Flow and HP Brand Centre at the Dscoop Edge con- ference held in Long Beach, California May 14-17. The announcement coincides with Dscoop’s 20th anni- versary, which celebrates significant digital print advance- ments over the last two decades and HP’s continued vi- sion for the future of the industry. “For two decades, HP and the Dscoop Edge commu- nity have been driving the transformation of digital print — raising the bar for quality, versatility, productivity, cost efficiency, and sustainability,” said Haim Levit, SVP & Divi- sion President, HP Industrial Print. “This year at Dscoop we celebrate that legacy and embark on a new journey — one in which AI will revolutionize the world of Print as we know it today – opening a new era where presses become au- tonomous and workflows are connected, automated, and orchestrated from creation to delivery.” To enhance operational efficiency and enable data in- tegration across workflows, HP today unveiled HP Nio, a next generation print industry AI agent that provides re- al-time insights and predictive analytics to optimize press and production performance. Powered by HP’s PrintOS, HP Nio empowers businesses with data-driven intelli- gence to maximize printing resources, drive productivity, and unlock new avenues for growth. “For the first time, AI advancements enable us to auto- mate what was previously impossible, pushing the bound- aries of automation in print”, said Joan Perez Pericot, VP and General Manager, HP Industrial Print Software & Solu- tions. “This announcements reflect our commitment to de- livering on our vision to better automate and control the entire production floor end-to-end with less human inter- vention.” HP Nio is a new chatbot that allows customers to ask questions about their print operations. It connects directly with HP PrintOS to deliver real-time data, production in- sights, and on-demand knowledge all in one place. By us- ing tools like Print Beat and the Knowledge Zone, HP Nio provides expert, print-specific guidance. Soon, it will also integrate with other HP PrintOS apps like HP Site Flow to support workflow automation and suggest smart, action- able next steps. Ultimately, HP Nio will act as an intelligent co-creator, enhancing the PrintOS experience and helping automate the entire print workflow from start to finish. Introduced at drupa for HP Indigo presses, HP’s AI-en- abled solutions — including Automatic Alert Agent (AAA 2.0), Print Mode Preflight, and PQ Maestro — are becom- ing core assets of HP Indigo’s AI technology, helping cus- tomers significantly increase print efficiency. These inno- vations are estimated to be commercially available in July 2025 as part of the press value pack release and will be CONTINUED ON PAGE 40
