Evolving sustainability regulations such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation in the USA, rising consumer expectations for recyclable and cir- cular solutions, and the growing push for digitalization and automation of manufacturing processes are reshaping how packaging is designed, produced, and recovered. Beyond technical collaboration, the two partners aim to accelerate innovation and deliver harmonized solutions across the entire packaging value chain. By combining machinery with adhesives, functional coatings and appli- cation expertise, the two companies create offerings that are reported to benefit not only converters, but also brand owners, retailers, end users, and recycling companies. Imageworx Installs North America’s First Eco3 Flexo Technology Imageworx, a provider of prepress services and flexog- raphic plates for the narrow and wide web flexo printing market, has installed North America’s first Eco3’s full suite of flexographic technologies, including software, equip- ment, and consumables. Imageworx will also function as a demonstration facility for the Eco3 total flexo products. The installation will in- clude the Amfortis workflow, patented SPIR@L screening, and GridTune surface patterning software, along with the MAGIS DI 600 H+ imager, MAGIS F 830 dry film, and MA- GIS P-L solvent plate and laminating system. This summer, Imageworx will host customers at its In- novation Center in Levittown, Pennsylvania, showcasing Eco3’s complete flexo technology.
