Nottingham Law School 2016/17

Entry requirements Law graduates

You will need a good honours degree in Law (2.2 or above) or an honours degree in another discipline, plus either the Common Professional Examination (CPE) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) conversion qualification. Non-Law graduates Applicants from other disciplines are also welcomed, particularly if you have relevant experience in the area. English language requirements International students need to demonstrate they have sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English before starting the course. We usually require one of the following: • IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill; or • an equivalent English language qualification. English language support If you don’t meet our English language requirements, we may offer you a place on the condition that you successfully complete a Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (PEAP) course at Nottingham Language Centre before your course begins. The length of the course will depend on your current level of English. Visit www.ntu.ac.uk/peap for more information.
