international and comparative insolvency law with a focus on the UK, USA, EU and China. Paula Moffatt Paula studied law at University College London worked as a solicitor with a City firm. Paula is an Associate Professor and is specialised in secured lending transactions and was involved in corporate rescues. Paula is the assistant to the Editorial Board of Lightman and Moss ‘The Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies’ and is a member of the City of London Law Society’s Advisory Group on the Secured Transactions Code. Paula is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Peter McTigue applicants and respondents at all stages of the Employment Tribunal process. He also undertook training in corporate law, corporate recovery, litigation and property. Professor Paul Omar Professor Omar is a Professor of International and Comparative Insolvency Law and teaches on Cross-Border Insolvency Law and Comparative Corporate Rescue. Professor Omar has also served as a consultant to the Council of Europe and to the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a division of the World Bank. Susan McLaughlin Susan is a qualified barrister and solicitor, and spent 17 years working as a legal adviser before becoming an academic. Susan is a past commonwealth scholar, twice Scholar of Lincoln’s Inn, and has taught and trained extensively within universities, law firms, and industry. Director of the School’s Centre for Business and Insolvency Law, Professor Burdette is also a consultant for the World Bank. He lectured previously at the University of Pretoria, and worked for the Master of the High Court in South Africa. Elspeth Berry Elspeth is a qualified solicitor and an Associate Professor, and is the tutor for Business Organisations, a module that she personally designed. Elspeth has written several books on partnership and LLP Law, and is widely- published in this area. She is also a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners. Gary Wilson Gary studied law at the University of Oxford, and subsequently worked as a solicitor in private practice, specialising in corporate law. Gary is an Associate Professor and researches and publishes in the field of corporate law and regulation. Gary is the module leader for Principles of Business Regulation and Public Companies: Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance, and also undertakes PhD supervision. Graham Ferris Graham is an Associate Professor, and a qualified solicitor who joined Nottingham Law School in 1999. Graham teaches modules on securing corporate debt, legal theory and method, and the law of the world trade organisation. He delivers the lecture course on legal research and writing, and supervises PhD students. Graham is a member of the Centre for Business and Insolvency Law and the Centre for Legal Education, and has published extensively in the fields of property law and legal education. Professor Rebecca Parry Professor Parry’s main research interests lie in the area of insolvency law and, in particular,
