Who will teach me? Graham Ferris Graham is an Associate Professor and a qualified Solicitor who joined Nottingham Law School in 1999. Graham teaches modules on securing corporate debt, legal theory and method, and the law of the world trade organisation. He delivers the lecture course on legal research and writing and supervises PhD students. Graham is a member of the Centre for Business and Insolvency Law and the Centre for Legal Education and has published extensively in the fields of property law and legal education. Elspeth Berry Business Organisations, a module which she designed. She has written several books on partnership and LLP Law and published a widely in this area, including on the criminal liability of partnerships and reforms to limited partnership law. She is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners, for which she writes the legal updates. Alfonso Valero Alfonso is the Course Leader of LLM programmes. Before joining Nottingham Law School, Alfonso was a practising lawyer, firstly in Spain and then as a Solicitor in England. Alfonso teaches International Dispute Resolution, Sports Law and International Commercial Transactions. He also teaches EU law in the undergraduate courses. His research interests are dispute resolution and sports law. Elspeth is a qualified solicitor and is an Associate Professor. She is the tutor for The module analyses the corporate governance framework pertaining to the company, with an emphasis on corporate law theory, the core directors’ duties, and the use of regulations such as the UK Corporate Governance Code. Gary Wilson Gary studied law at the University of Oxford and subsequently worked as a solicitor in private practice specialising in corporate law. Gary is an Associate Professor and researches and publishes in the field of corporate law and regulation. Gary is the module leader for Principles of Business Regulation and Public Companies: Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance, and also undertakes PHD supervision. Paul Omar Professor Omar is a Professor of International and Comparative Insolvency Law and teaches on Cross-Border Insolvency Law and Comparative Corporate Rescue. Professor Omar has also served as a consultant to the Council of Europe and to the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a division of the World Bank. Paula Moffat Paula studied law at University College London worked as a solicitor with a City firm. Paula is an Associate Professor and is specialised in secured lending transactions and was involved in corporate rescues. Paula is the assistant to the Editorial Board of Lightman and Moss ‘The Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies’ and is a member of the City of London Law Society’s Advisory Group on the Secured Transactions Code.
