Printafoil Ltd. Installs Eagle Systems Cold Foil Module On Komori Press Ocean, New Jersey based Eagle Systems Inc., a develop- er and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, has announced that Printafoil Ltd. has installed an Eco-Eagle Cold Foil Module on their Komori press in its South Africa facility. The installation, which was completed in October, is creating a buzz among the company’s prominent retail and brand packaging clients. “We’re barely a few weeks in with the Eagle System and we’re already generating real excitement among our most demanding clients,” said Printafoil Director Ryan Sherman. “A very smooth installation enabled us to begin generating samples very early on and now we’re running trials with several of our key customers.” Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Printafoil is a third-generation printing and packaging company special- izing in premium carton board work. The company’s repu- tation for quality and reliability as a packaging printer has been recognized by the awards in their trophy cases. “Over 1,500 combined years of printing and packaging experience is constantly dedicated to our customers’ proj- ect satisfaction and ultimately their success,” added Sher- man. “Servicing many of the most recognizable packaging brands, including Almay, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Adidas, Estee Lauder, and Clinique, we are constantly seeking out

technologies that widen our competitive edge. Adding the powerful capabilities of the Eagle System is a major advan- tage in both quality and throughput productivity.” Sherman continued: “The Eagle system fits ideally with our business model of offering a multitude of finishes, pro- viding the ultimate in graphic enhancements, and product protection. And our new cold-foiling tools replace a metal- ized plastic coated board with a more eco-friendly green solution which is 100 percent recyclable. Eagle is perfectly in-line with our vision to produce eye-catching, yet sus- tainable, packaging with minimal environmental impact. After much research and field testing we determined that Eagle’s vast and extensive experience in the foiling field differentiates them from their competition. This is a posi- tion we can respect.” “We’ve experienced an increasingly rapid global adop- tion of cold foil in recent years,” said Mike King, President and CEO, Eagle Systems. “Cold Foil enables service pro- viders to offer their clients an innovative option that tran- scends the demands of their most high-end customers. Simply stated, it gives them the ability to say ‘yes’ to more projects, with less time and money required to make it happen.” Eagle Systems is a leader in the design and manufac- ture of foil stamping and print enhancement equipment with their Eagle Systems machines, which have been a fa- vorite for conversion of automatic die cutting platens and lithographic printing presses.
