Clive and Beverley David Research Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of Clive A. David, Professor of Forestry from 1989-2003, who was a driving force in establishing the UW-Stevens Point CNR Undergraduate Student Research Symposium in 2000. David encouraged his colleagues to support – and students to participate in – undergraduate research. His personal research interests were in deforestation and soil erosion prevention, windbreaks and solid waste. David’s excellence in teaching was recognized several times during his career by both colleagues and students, and he was named a University of Wisconsin System Teaching Fellow in 2000. This scholarship supports a top undergraduate student who demonstrates a commitment to research. Adrienne Cohoon Wildlife Ecology and Management Okemos, Michigan
