Warren serves as the president of the International Association of Official Human Rights Agencies and on the Board of Directors for FOCUS St. Louis and the Diversity Awareness Partnership. She was appointed to the Missouri Supreme Court Commission on Race and Ethnic Fairness and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Joint Standing Committee. She received the “Most Influential Business Women” Award and the “Women Who Dare to Dream” Distinguished Humanitarian Award. Warren earned a doctoral degree in community development and social disparities, a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design, all from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Stevens, a member of the Sisters of Loretto Community, holds a doctorate in English and a master’s degree in English literature, both from the University of Rochester. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Nazarene College.

David Stiffler (he/him/his) Director of Community Relations Edward Jones

David Stiffler is the Director of Community Relations at Edward Jones, where he leads a national body of work focused on financial

inclusion and economic mobility.

Prior to his career at Edward Jones, David worked at Equifax, the credit bureau, for more than 16 years and was the President of the Equifax Foundation and Global Corporate Social Responsibility Leader, working across multiple countries and focused primarily on financial inclusion. David is also an adjunct professor at Washington University. Stiffler earned his master’s degree in mass communication and media studies at California State University-Northridge and his bachelor’s degree in English and literature at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He and his wife, Jing, have two sons, Lincoln and Langston.

Alisa Warren, PhD (she/her/hers) Executive Director Missouri Commission on Human Rights Alisa Warren, PhD, is executive director of the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, the state agency working to prevent and eliminate

discrimination. Her dedicated service manifests itself in extensive education and outreach efforts at the domestic and international levels. As an industry leader, she works to leverage strong partnerships which are key to advancing human rights. Warren is a subject matter expert in human rights appearing on television, radio and as a keynote speaker. She is a perennial university guest lecturer and conducts training for government agencies, organizations, communities and businesses. She is a vocal champion for international human rights treaty obligations and advocated before the United Nations Human Rights Committee in Geneva, Switzerland.
