A Focus Review is a one-day visit offering an external perspective on a specific aspect of school practice. These visits are ideal for providing evidence to inform your self-evaluation and school improvement planning, all delivered with a strengths-based approach.

Activities may include: »

Comprehensive Reviews offer a deeper dive into a whole thematic area of school life, with a structured, rigorous process led by two experienced professionals. These reviews are built around collaboration, evidence gathering, and context-specific insight—designed to inform strategy, problem-solving, and ongoing improvement.

Activities may include: » Pre-review data analysis and documentation audit. » Stakeholder voice: pupil, parent, and staff surveys. » Learning walks and lesson observations. » In-depth professional discussions with leaders. » Website and policy checks.

Outcome : A full written report detailing strengths, development areas, and strategic recommendations—aligned with national guidance and best practice. Follow-up support or CPD can also be arranged.
